• Datong Ancient City Wall, located in Datong City, is a well-preserved ancient city wall and a national AAAA-level scenic spot. It was expanded during the Ming Dynasty on older foundations.

• Yungang Grottoes, in Shanxi Province, China, are ancient caves famous for their Buddhist sculptures, carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty. Dating back to around 460 AD, these caves showcase over 51,000 stone statues in 45 main caves and 252 niches.
• The Datong Museum, formerly the Datong City Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall, was established in 1956 and renamed in 1984. The museum, opened in 2013, houses valuable historical artifacts.
• The Datong Nine Dragon Screen, a colorful glazed screen, stands 45.2 meters long and 9 meters high, depicting dragons and other mythical creatures.
