Meals on Board

  • Gather at Singapore Changi Airport to board the flight to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province.
  • Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel to rest.

Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

  • Dali Ancient City is situated at the foot of the picturesque Cangshan Mountain. It was once the capital of the ancient Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms. This is a pleasant place to live, with a slow pace of life, sunny weather, and comfortable temperatures. Strolling through the ancient city, exploring small shops and admiring the historic architecture is very relaxing.
  • Formerly known as "Huguo Road," Foreigner's Street got its namename during the early days of the Republic of China when  the people of Yunnan rose up against Yuan Shikai's attempt to declare himself emperor, and they fought to protect the country. The street runs from east to west, spanning 1000 meters in length and 7 meters in width, paved with bluestones. On both sides of Foreigner's Street, there are numerous shops and restaurants, including coffee shops, restaurants, jewelry stores, antique shops, batik stores,  galleries, and more. The variety is overwhelming, and it's a feast for the eyes.
  • The Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor serves as a boundary between humans and the lake, allowing Erhai Lake to "breathe." It connects various villages along the coast, transforming the unique Bai ethnic traditional villages into a "string of pearls" surrounding Erhai Lake. Taking a leisurely walk along the ecological corridor, you will gradually unfold a picture of nostalgia.

Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

  • Napa Lake sounds exotic and easily brings to mind island cities like the Aegean Sea in Greece. However, located in Shangri-La City, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan, Napa Lake is not an island or a sea but a vast highland wetland - a pristine and clear lake surrounded by grasslands with herds of cattle and sheep.
  • Dukezong Ancient Town is the best-preserved and largest Tibetan residential area in China. In recent years, with the development of local tourism, Shangri-La City has  strengthened the protection and restoration of Dukezong Ancient Town, reviving its historical charm.
  • Guishan Park was established during the Kangxi era. This park was built on the mountainside, serving as the highest point in the ancient town, offering a panoramic view of the entire county. The rotating prayer wheels and the Great Buddha Temple are the most distinctive buildings in the park and are symbolic landmarks of the ancient town.

Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

  • Lijiang Ancient Town's streets are built along the mountains and water, paved with red cobblestones. It boasts attractions like Sifang Street, Mu's Residence, and Wufeng Tower. Lijiang is one of the second batch of approved historical and cultural cities in China and one of the two ancient cities in China that successfully declared the entire town as a World Cultural Heritage site.
  • Lijiang Ancient Town has a colorful local ethnic customs and entertainment activities, such as Naxi ancient music, Dongba rituals, divination culture, old town bars, and the Naxi Torch Festival, which are all unique and distinctive. The ancient town of Lijiang reflects the achievements of ancient Chinese urban construction and represents one of the architectural types with distinct characteristics and style among Chinese dwellings.
  • Sifang Street is famous for its colorful stone-paved ground, washed clean with water, and bustling market during the day and evening. Surrounding it are six radiant and colorful flower stone streets, extending and connecting the streets and lanes, making transportation extremely convenient.
  • Black Dragon Pool Park features beautiful ancient architecture nestled amid mountains and water. Its flowing charm and colors often captivate visitors, making them want to stay longer.

Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

  • Lugu Lake is a boundary lake between Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, shared by both provinces. The area around the lake is mainly inhabited by the Mosuo people, Yi ethnic group, and Pumi people. The lake's water is clear and azure, making it the highest-altitude lake in Yunnan and one of China's deepest freshwater lakes, imbuing it with a sense of mystery. The scenic area is surrounded by towering mountains, with snow accumulation for more than three months each year. The region boasts abundant forest resources and is often praised as the "Penglai Fairyland."

Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

  • This morning, before leaving Lugu Lake, wake up early to watch the sunrise (subject to weather conditions).
  • The "Zhucao boat," also known as the dugout canoe, is called "Rigu" in the Mosuo language. It is made from a thick, hollowed-out log with pointed ends on both sides, resembling a long pig trough, hence the name "Zhucao boat." Lugu Lake is isolated from the outside world, and the only means of transportation on the lake is the unique "Zhucao boat" used by the Mosuo people.
  • Riwu Island is located northwest of Snake Island and is the largest island in Lugu Lake. One side of the island features natural stone pinnacles, forming a natural pier. A winding path leads directly to the top of the island, with many rhododendron flowers and wild cherry trees along the way. At the end of the flower bushes, you'll find the Yellow Sect Lama Monastery - Riwu Monastery.

Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

  • Ganhaizi is located at the eastern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It was originally a glacial lake but dried up due to the rising snowline, earning it the nickname "Ganhaizi." It is a highland meadow surrounded by mountains on three sides, stretching about 4 kilometers in length and 1.5 kilometers in width.
  • Between Ganhaizi and Yunsheng Plateau, there is a valley with lush forests and a clear stream flowing through it, known as Baishui River. The riverbed and terrace are composed of white marble and carbonaceous rock fragments, giving it a gray-white appearance. The clear spring water flowing over the rocks also appears white, thus the name "Baishui River." The water in Baishui River comes from the melting glaciers and snowfields at an altitude of four to five thousand meters.
  • The melted ice and snow from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain flow through a valley on the eastern slope, where, under the reflection of the blue sky, the moon appears to be reflected in the blue lake water. This sight, similar to the "Blue Moon Valley" described by British author Hilton in "Lost Horizon," led to the naming of this place as the "Blue Moon Valley."
