12D Lets Go Chasing Aurora Norway + Lofoten Island

Dinner

• Welcome to Tromso also known as ‘The capital of the Arctic’.  It is a lively and charming city. Packed with culture andhistory, Tromsø is surrounded by mountains, fjords and islands that all have their own stories to tell.
• Tromsø is one of the best places on earth to observe the northern lights.

1. Tonight we will hunt the Northern Lights with a walk together with your tour manager.

• After breakfast, transfer to Bardu to visit Polar Park Arctic Wildlife Centre. Have opportunity to get up close with Arctic animals. Polar Park specializes in Nordic fauna, including Norway's four largest predators: brown bear, lynx, wolf, and wolverine as well as moose, muskox, red deer, and reindeer.
• Transfer to Svolvaer which is the perfect base from which to explore Norway's captivating Lofoten Islands. The statue ofFiserkona, the fisherman's wife, stands at the harbor entrance against a backdrop of cod drying racks, giving visitors a taste and smell of the town's seafaring roots.

• Today we travel deeper into Lofoten Island with a visit to its most scenic and photographed fishing village - Reine. With its idyllic location, tucked in between fjords and tall mountains, with a shoreline dotted with red and yellow fishermen’s cabins, Reine is a must-see when visiting Lofoten.
• Short drive to the World shortest name Village - Å which is also the southernmost village in Lofoten.

3. Tonight we will hunt the Northern Lights with a walk together with your tour manager.

• Enjoy the scenic drive along the fjords as we cross various bridges and tunnels to arrive in the port town of Narvik.

4(a). Board a Gondola (cable car) up to Narvikfjellet which offers a chance to catch the Northern Lights.
(b). Tonight we will hunt the Northern Lights with ascension to hotel roof bar with your tour manager.

• Cross the border to Finland Klipsjarvi for our overnight stay.
• Kilpisjärvi is a village in the municipality of Enontekiö near the Norweigan border. Kilpisjarvi is the only alpine village in Finland and is famous for its lake and fells.
• For the adventurous, you may want to use your free time todo a hike up Saana, reaching the top, you will be rewarded with one of the best views in Finland, with sweeping vistas across the border to Norway and Sweden.

5. Tonight we will hunt the Northern Lights with a walk together with your tour manager.

Buffet Breakfast

• Cross the border back to Norway and travel through Norway's Finnmark region where reindeer roam along a wild coastline dotted with tiny villages to Alta known widely as ‘the Northern Lights City’ .
• Photostop at the modern Northern Lights Cathedral.

6. Tonight we will hunt the Northern Lights with a walk together with your tour manager.

• Today we will head northwards along the Porsanger Fjord en route to Honningsvag.
• It doesn't get much further north in Norway than Honningsvåg, today's final destination and the gateway to the North Cape. During your free time, consider joining an optional to the North Cape Visitor Centre to see the cliffs from the ethereal vantage point known as the 'Edge of the World' (weather Permitting)

• Utsjoki is the northernmost municipality of Finland and Finland’s only municipality with a majority of Sámi population.
• Village tour including the various Parish huts, Ailigas Fell which is right by the town center and offers an impressive view over the Teno River Valley
• Visit the Sami bridge (border bridge), where you not only get some great views of one of Europe’s largest salmon fishing rivers, but you also have the chance to stand with one foot in Norway and the other in Finland.
• It is said that in Utsjoki, the Northern Lights appear every 4 out of 5 nights.

8. Tonight we will hunt the Northern Lights with a walk together with your tour manager.

Buffet Breakfast | Lunch | Eat-all-you-can King Crab Dinner

• Cross the border and transfer to Norway.
• With our very experienced guide, we will go on a snowmobile safari to the Siberian taiga forest in the Pasvik valley.

9. As we hunt the Northern lights, we will also have an opportunity to see how a King Crab is caught.

• We end the safari with a 1 hour eat-all-you-can King Crab served the Norwegian way with Mustard and wine.

• Free at leisure till transfer to Finland and your flight back to Singapore.

4. ^{Lapland/Finnmark Hotels has no star grading – equivalent will be provided}
5. ^{Weather condition in Lapland/Finnmark is very unpredictable, roads and attractions may close at short notice, we will proceed with the alternative routings in such scenarios based on the best possible situation.}
6. ^{Tour Manager during peak season may not fly together with group, however a check in staff will be allocated and Tour Manager will meet the group upon arrival.}
7. ^{Some accommodations may not have specific twin or double room types.}
8. ^{Northern Light Hunting is dependent on KP index and weather forecast, your tour manager will make the decision to proceed depending on the above 2 conditions.}
